All of that is unrelated to the Justice department conspiracy-theory probe into the origins of Russiagate. That investigation may be stupid and waste of money, but it probably isn't illegal.

Keep your eye on the ball and don't let them whip you up about the side-show. They really, really want to roll Ukraine into that, and it isn't the same thing at all.

Actually, that thing about the "dirt" was entirely fabricated by Adam Schiff in his opening statement to DNI Maguire's testimony. Later on during the hearing, Schiff claimed he wasn't "lying," it was simply his version of a "parody."

Yet the MSM are using Schiff's "lie/parody" of "digging up dirt" supposedly requested by Trump as the prevailing meme. And so are you.

Parodies are for clowns. Schiff is a clown. Are you?

And, let's not forget that Nancy Pelosi then went on 60 Minutes and accused Trump of trying to get Ukraine to "create" information.

It is no surprise that the Democrats are making statements that simply are not true.

Given that there was no investigation that involved Hunter Biden and no evidence of any wrongdoing, the only way there was going to be "dirt" is if it were manufactured.

If there was no investigation of Hunter Biden, then how could Joe Biden keep saying the accusations against his son have been "debunked"? Seems to me like you can't have a conclusion without having the investigation first. So let's have at it.

You also haven't been investigated for illegal behavior, have you? Let's have at it.

In the case of Hunter Biden, though, it's not quite so easy. Since we want another country to investigate him for ... something. And they have said they won't, because there's no reason to. So now what?

Why is Barr breathing over the shoulder of a highly respected professional like Durham ?

There was an investigation into the company two years before Biden joined the board. if there was anything nefarious, it would have come out then. There was nothing about Biden joining a board that was illegal. This is nothing more than manufacturing dirt to advance the idea that Manafort should be pardoned and that Russia wasn't involved in the 2016 election.

Imagine for a second that this was AG Lynch traveling around asking foreign officials to debunk an FBI report her boss didn't like.

It's more than that. They're actually asking foreign governments to say that Russia didn't hack us n 2016 but rather that Obama did!

Obama was the President during the 2016 campaign, was apparently aware of the alleged Russian interference, yet did absolutely nothing to stop it. If it's true that Russian interference occurred, investigation of the Obama Administration's failure to do anything to stop it is indeed warranted. On the other hand, if there wasn't significant Russian interference, that would explain why Obama did nothing about it. In either case, there is nothing wrong with Barr requesting the assistance of foreign governments to get to the bottom of this. Just as Obama's use of foreign governmental resources to spy on the Trump campaign is possibly not illegal, although maybe it was illegal.

The reason Obama didnt act more overtly was because the Senate majority leader, Mitch McConnell refused to support any action and said he would paint it as Obama trying to influence the election in favor of the Democrats. You're literally saying Obama is at fault for conceding to what YOUR PARTY wanted.

It's amazing how the CONservatives love to twist facts and try to blame Obama for Moscow Mitch"s actions.

Because they want to expedite the information and Barr has the clout to get that done.

And, remember, that at his confirmation hearing, Barr told Congress and everyone else who was paying attention that he would investigate the genesis of the Russian investigation.

He also said that presidents are untouchable, regardless of whatever crimes they commit.

No, he didn't.

Barr and Pompeo are literally working with the Russians to manufacture fear, uncertainty and doubt on the Mueller investigation by acquiring and relying on the testimony of Simona Morganta's former boss, Josef Mifsud in the case. I am sure he is going to (falsely) claim he was a western intelligence officer primed to give Papadopolous false information.

I am not even sure why it would matter...Papadopolous still blabbed about it to the Aussie diplomat, which pushed the US IC into an investigation.

Obama did try to influence the election in favor of the Democrats. It didn't work.
