There might be 1 good player on Loudoun and VDA 05 but the teams are not overall that good. ARL has more than 1 top player. Metro U does as well. |
This is an interesting topic. When I think of top player, I think of a game changer. I don’t think ARL or Metro have any “game changers”, but they both have a handful of strong, solid players. Baltimore Armour has an 05 who is outstanding. But this year she has been playing up. |
If you take a great player and put them on an otherwise uninspired team it is difficult to assess their true potential. Anyone who is a repeated national pool player is at least decent? |
i think playing up is dumb at this age. because then there are 06s that are playing up to fill her spot, hurting the 06 team in the process. i dont get it. |
| There’s McLean, and then there’s everyone else. |
Yeah, it has a trickle effect. Besides, no player should play up unless they are such a stand out at their own age group (or whichever age group they are playing), that they aren't being challenged (and therefore developed). The only girl I saw like that is Baltimore Arthur's 04. If you are scoring 30 or 40 goals in your own age group, then I can see it. |
You’re a clown. |
What? |
I think they meant to say: "There’s FCV, and then there’s everyone else." |
Wow pretty harsh reaction to a seemingly innocuous comment? What exactly do you disagree with? |
Loudoun definitely has more than one good player. |
I am assuming you are from Loudoun? Did you watch the 0-3 Loudoun McLean 05 game? How many McLean players would you say are top players? More or less than Loudoun? Clearly you are not an unbiased judge of your own team? |
| Maybe you aren't including Maryland teams, but Celtic has some very good 05 girls' players. |
Loudoun was last place in their division last year and lost 2 of their 3 best played to fcv and vda. They aren’t a good team. |
| We’re talking players now, not teams or coaches. We’re also talking top notch players not just “good” players. |
