Recommend a movie for when you need a good cry

I never cry at movies and I bawled at the end of LA LA Land. A musical! Haha.

Inside Out makes me cry every time.

Pan’s Labyrinth is incredibly sad. I sobbed all the way home and cried for days afterward when I thought about it. I can never watch that movie again!

Brokeback Mountain is pretty devastating at the end.

I feel the same as your niece about Steel Magnolias. Terms of Endearment she did nothing to bring on her fate, and the acting is so, so good.

+1 to Terms of Endearment. That's what I was going to recommend.

My kids freaking love this movie and I have to walk away every time Mufasa dies because when the little Simba goes up to him and pushes on his and says "Daddy?" and then lays down under his limp leg I lose it!

Weeping crying.

Also Fried Green Tomatoes.

Fried Green Tomatoes, yes! Haven’t seen Stepmom but the premise seems like it would make me weep.

NP. It's SO good. Ed Harris, be still my heart. One of my favorites.

Just the ad for a Dog's Purpose makes me cry so perhaps the whole movie would do the trick. I seriously can't even make it through the trailer.

Why would someone even think "A Dogs Purpose" would be a good movie? I mean really having a dog die over and over again just doesn't seem like a good idea...
