"You Were Always On My Mind"

| Nightswimming by REM. I have no idea why, but it gets me every time. |
What a powerful story. I totally get it. Not laughing. Sharing a tear with you. Thanks for sharing. |
Preach. |
| I'm getting emotional just reading these posts. |

Mine is "Come Away with Me" by Nora Jones. It was playing in the background in the hospital room of my dear friend's daughter as she lay dying at age 6. I always felt that Nora Jones' voice was softly beckoning the little girl. She died a couple of hours later.
I'm crying as I write this because that night was so emotional. |

I opened this thread to post this. In fact, I'm starting to sniffle now just thinking about it. Hate when they play it at the grocery store, too. |
Yes. You must be my age. Such a melancholy and sad song. Goodbye to you my trusted friend We've known each other since we were nine or ten Together we've climbed hills and trees Learned of love and ABC's Skinned our hearts and skinned our knees Goodbye my friend it's hard to die When all the birds are singing in the sky Now that the spring is in the air Pretty girls are everywhere Think of me and I'll be there We had joy, we had fun We had seasons in the sun But the hills that we climbed Were just seasons out of time |
| When Frozen first came out, I couldn’t sing along to “Let It Go” without crying. I have no idea why. |
