Is Brown hot at your child's school?

Anonymous
I could not be happier with the education and overall experience my daughter is getting at Brown. And there seem to be plenty of recruiting opportunities. At our school, Brown and Yale are the most popular Ivies. In reality though, there are many excellent schools; it makes sense to go where you will thrive. Each excellent school has its own personality.

I doubt these rabble rousers kept their views secret on their apps. Brown accepted these nut jobs because that's the vibe they want to cultivate.

Do you work for the admissions office?

I guarantee these kids highlighted they were radical activist loons on their apps. It's not like they had a high SAT/ACT to highlight.

PP you don't know anything about those kids or their test scores.

My kid has perfect grades and test scores, unlike someone who would call Brown students “radical activist loons.”

This is what the internet refers to as a "weak troll".

Really, really weak.

We can all safely infer.

Oh please lets be real here. Brown is at the very bottom (bottom 2) of the ivies. Obviously great school, but far from hot amongst the tippy top students and their parents.

What adult uses phrases like "tippy top"?

Please stop with this idiotic ranking of the ivies.....it's beyond inane.

Brown is almost considered a safety at GDS.

Not my problem if people can't handle facts. What is your issue with tippy top?

If your kid washes out of the 1% lifestyle, good luck holding a degree "normies" don't respect. Nobody has heard of Brown. I know teachers with Brown degrees, nobody gives a sh*t. If they applied for admin position, the average supe wouldn't even know it was an Ivy. No joke.

Most normies haven't really heard of any ivies outside of HYP, not just Brown. The issue with Brown is even the 1% think it is a joke ivy.

Really fun to watch insecure parents bash Ivy League schools who will reject their equally annoying and obnoxious children.
