I can't figure out why she deleted the NVD post. On Lander, she is actually a big supporter of his. I thought she was bucking her biases by letting it stay even though some people shamelessly turned it into a plug for other candidates.

AEM has lost a lot of credibility this week. First, someone from another town put Ste about the Lander thing to get the topic started. Ok. It was a big gaffe. She didn't stop there, though, calling out other Arl Dems by name asking if they will withdraw support. Later, she's outed as Ann on-APS stakeholder and a former Arl Dem insider.

Then, someone apparently brings up NVD's behavior and the mods immediately shut it down. The episode of nasty behavior wasn't gossip, it's public record. Are the mods just afraid of NVD?

In a word, yes. NVD is pretty scary. Once she knows you disagree with her, she seems to go out of her way to be nasty. She cares a lot about kids, but she needs to learn to listen and be open to other points if view. It seems like she also is bullying Tania Tallento, who needs to become her own woman.

Someone should archive the work session archive quickly. This should be brought up when NVD runs for reelection and I am guessing that it will disappear from the APS website before too long.

I think Lander has made a lot of promises to a lot of different communities. I've heard he promised the Immersion parents that they could have Carlin Springs for a third immersion ES. Pretty sure he's also promised the Long Branch families that they're going to send all the Southies who currently attend to the new Henry when it opens.I don't know what'll happen with the election, but so hope he's out.

this is pretty unfair and simply not true. The mods of that board are both Tuckahoe parents- and I would imagine Swanson MS parents. I cannot imagine that either of them were heavily invested in the Stratford decisions- other than possibly keeping HB from being moved to Reed (which was an insane idea on multiple levels.)

If you read the thread, the poster came back later in the thread and commended one ACB member for withdrawing support. She then tagged/called out other ACB members to pressure them into doing the same thing. She was then outed as someone with no stake in what goes down in APS. Then, she said she'd leave the group, but only after the caucus b/c she doesn't want her post removed. She's obviously playing games.

The mods were both members of the Stratford Middle School FB group.
