They will need it. They are having financial problems. Maybe the boycott is hitting just a little bit on that bottom line.

I had a thread about this. Liberals are boycotting LL Bean. They produce clothes here in Maine. Liberals hate the American wormer

Liberals hate the American worker

Liberals are American workers moron.

Shhhh, you were addressing someone posting from Moscow and they forgot they were addressing an American audience.

This guy is a reckless fool.

I sure hope there're not enough of those idiots to tip the scales and actually hurt anything.

So people who spend their money based on their value system are idiots. Okay PP, you sound like the idiot.

That was great. He is defending an American company from the bullying by some deranged sore losers who don't seem to understand that in a free country it's completely normal that a person wants to donate money to one of your political opponents.

Sheesh, this is like kindergarten all again.

At least he's open. Not like Obama and Goldman Sachs

Show me the TAX RETURNS!!!!!!

Liberals are boycotting it because the supported Trump. Like I said, your hate of him is more than your concern for the American workers. Liberals love their iPhones and hate of Trump more than the hard working American

Nice deflection from the fact that Trump's promotion of the brand is completely unethical, and this shit is GOING to get him impeached at some point soon. If he cared about American workers, he would not be fanning the flames of the stupid boycott. But he can't resist trying to stir the pot and throw bones to his supporters.

He and Ivanka would make their goods in the USA and use American workers. Oh snap. He doesn't care.

Thank you! People here are so easily distracted.

Well, part of it is because Trumpsters don't see ANY ethical issues with Trump. They saw all kinds of ethical issues with HRC, imagined or real. That in and of itself is scary as hell.

Well he could shoot an innocent person in the middle of 5th Avenue and Trumpsters wouldn't care. So what are ethics to them? Nothing.

They, like many American clothing lines, are in trouble because most Americans are cost conscious. If I can buy a tshirt for $10 at Target or something, why would I pay $25 for it a llbean. Fashion wise they are about the same.

If this is kindergarten, you are the one in the corner eating the glue. He needs to stop. Agree with first PP.

I thought in a free country it's completely normal to spend your money where you like to. I also thought that was called capitalism and free market, who does not need government intervention in the shape of PEOTUS tweets.

They, like most other retailers, are quaking in their boots because Lyin' Ryan is trying to shove a tax code change down the throats of American business that will make prohibitive the cost of importing goods. Whether it comes to fruition remains to be seen, but it will certainly clear the way for Trump's sweatshops to remain profitable by torquing the stock price of any remaining publicly traded retail companies in the process. Any Trump cronies will make a killing manipulating the stocks in question.

Cite? If I'm not mistaken they are increasing their Beanboot production capacity in the USA every year and still sell out. I scored a new pair for 40% off at the Fall sale.

In my experience products like outerwear, flannel clothes and bedding and footwear from LL Bean or Lands End are well-made and quite durable. Target and Walmart ... not so much.

If your company is doing so well, you don't need to discount 40%.

Literally everyone I know who shops at LL Bean, down to the girls wearing Bean Boots, are republicans.

Huh? Maine is a blue state.

LL Bean is worn all over New England.
Their quality is great. Their customer service is great.
Trust me, a ton of democrats are wearing LL Bean as well.

And then there's this - http://www.llbean.com/llb/ods/33?nav=bc

No anti-Trump folks are bringing down LL Bean. It's a cultural icon in New England.

LOL! I see s 25 percent off sale, which Bean never does. That tells me they're nervous.

You obviously don't know what you're talking about. Lol.

Sure I do. I shop quite a bit at LL Bean. Well, I did until I read about Linda Bean's illegal political donations.

They have tons of sales.

I have no opinion on whether we - libs, anti-PEEOTUS-sters - should keep shopping there.
