Glad you're not on the committee says a mom with a kid with ADHD

My DC's AAP class is FILLED with kids who can't sit still.

DC was receiving Level III services for both Math and LA in 2nd grade. We did not submit any supporting materials or certificates.

My son is colorblind which I believe threw off his NNAT score so much. He has been receiving Level II services since kindergarten and we also submitted a parent referral.

Looking at the thread, I see more "IN" from parental referral than for "in pool" kids. Interesting...

We transferred into district mid year last year. Not sure of the GBRS score, but, our DC got in.

For those accepted, the acceptance letter was a little unclear about whether transportation is provided to the center. The letter say transportation is only provided within the program boundary. Does this mean transportation only if you are in the school's boundary. If anyone understood that paragraph better any guidance would be appreciated. I know AAP transportation was one of the things in the budget chopping block. TIA

My letter listed my bus stop next to the Center at the top of the page. We are outside the Center's school boundary, but within the AAP boundary. My understanding from the letter is that transportation is provided to the Center.
