Someone put up a Trump tombstone in Central Park. I think the man and his staff have legitimate reason to fear someone will attack Trump.
|
I think defending yourself is quite presidential. In fact, it's more presidential than, say, doing the wave with Castro in a Communist country, when people of your own nation have just died in a huge terror attack. |
Isn't it handi-capable? |
Would you feel highly offended if someone said the same about Trump's wife's 12k implants or if things don't work with Trump she can work at the Bunny Ranch? Your words. Just changed the name. |
Sure, this was about protecting Trump from an assassin, whom they already know but apparently never bothered to do anything about. |
Not only that, but after Lewandowski heroically saved Trump from assassination, he humbly denied ever touching the deranged killer. |

| Seems like a bad publicity stunt by Fields. She stepped over the secret service line, grabbed a candidate and was pushed aside. loco lady. Also told many lies about what happened. Other than that she has a "case" In the context of a scrum her "case" has no real standing. And what does this have to do with Trump? |
Ok...so his loyalty makes a good friend or a good pet, but was this Presidential? Hell no. He kept an issue going that could have and should have been handled in a day or two. Issue a loose goosey mea culpa and move the fuck on for the greater good. That is what leaders do. They don't get bogged down and escalate issues like this. It is petty and not Presidential at all. A public spat with a reporter. If he is this sensitive and petty, being President might not be for him. |
Please point out one lie, one single lie, told by Fields regarding this incident. Lewandowski claimed that he didn't touch her. That was a lie. |
|
Just read that the lawyer defending Corey was arrested and fired a few years back for, and I quote, biting a stripper in Miami.
Trump surrounds himself with classy, classy people. |
Trump's lawyers only bite the best strippers. Really, really great strippers. |
This pp has nailed it! Yes, this is breathtakingly incompetent. All Lewandowski had to do is admit that he grabbed Michelle Fields, say that he didn't realized he grabbed her that hard but he was concerned about Trump's safety, and then we all would have argued about it for 24 hours and it would have been over. But regardless of whether one thinks the physical encounter was a big deal, Lewandowski lied about what he did and Trump is now trying to deflect responsibility for that by focusing on Fields' behavior. What kind of stupid person lies about something that so many people saw and that a security camera caught? Anyone with half a brain would know that they couldn't deny having done this. This is not the behavior of someone who will be competent at handling an international incident. |

You made all of that up. Reporters who did not get to ask a question during the press conference walk along and try to ask one as he is leaving. Another reporter asked a question before Fields and the Washington Post reporter was behind her trying to get a question in. It is what happens every time. Trump can answer them or not, but the reporters are not kept in lock-down by the Secret Service after an event, as much as you seem to believe that they should. She did not grab him. The back of her hand lightly brushed his elbow as she leaned in to try to record his answer to her question. She did what national political reporters do. They try to ask questions. |
