Maybe Trump could borrow Rubio's "bubble" to protect him from the horror of having a woman lightly brush his elbow. |
Yeah, with the 30% of Republicans who already like him. Currently 63% of the country does not. |
Women in NC seem to love him. Surprising to me But the anger at DC is overwhelming and I think the quote i heard is. "Have you ever seen anything good from those talking heads?" People outside DC associate these reporters with The politicians Now if the guy had hit a local reporter that people know it may be different but now it is a he said she said and no one believes the politicians and the reporters that surround them |
Are you sure this isn't Trump himself? That trademark obsessive offensive-style defense...I mean, look at his Twitter re:this incident...that urge to impugn someone in every possible way and hope something sticks...how long before he posts an unflattering photo of Field and asks "Who would intentionally touch this woman?" |
This may be my favorite jeff call out post ever! |
Yes, the series of shots from the L show that the Trump campaign manager is aggressively approaching her . Look at the photo series the BBC has published, particularly check out the focus of Lewandowski 's facial expression as he hones in : http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-35919863[url] That is the face of assault. Now Trump doesn't even look up from his iPhone, does not even seem to notice My take is NOT that Corey Lewandowski was trying to fend off a journalista, but rather an attractive woman , a very attractive woman whom Trump appears to be talking to while he is simultaneously on his phone ( as in, sure, lets talk later , what is your cell phone number ) check out the focus of Lewandowski 's facial expression as he hones in |
Yes, and moderators should be just that; objective not taking a side. |
|
this...
The icing on the case of this story is that Lewandowski is being represented in the case by a lawyer who had to resign as a federal prosecutor after biting a stripper. I know that violence towards women is a frequent campaign issue these days. However, it is unusual for candidates to seemingly be in favor of it. Of course, its true, but Jeff where did you find this ? |
I've looked at the video multiple times, didn't see anything like that either. |
One of the reporters I follow on Twitter mentioned it with a link to back it up. I think Media Matters might have been the original source, though I'm not positive about that. Subsequently, I saw it repeated several times by other reporters. |
What does she have in her hand? |
|
In her hand? Looks 100% like the button end of an ordinary ball point pen to me.
Weird question. Maybe Trump's bubble world only accommodates recognition of a $1000 Mont Blanc fountain pen? |
No, but I have often been intentionally touched by others against my will, which technically meets the elements of the Florida statute. You haven't had someone press against you to force their way into a crowded Metro car? I have. Often. intentional, touch, against my will. How does this not meet all elements of Florida criminal battery as cited upthread? If you are saying that prosecutors can and should exercise judgment against bringing such charges, I agree. So too here. This is a trivial amount of contact that would never be charged in the run of the mill case. |
You were asked in the other thread to prove that she has a pattern of this behavior. Are you ever going to do so? |
