highly regarded charter school not the best thing since sliced bread

Does Highly Regarded have a Highly Regarded Summer Camp during the intersession? How much is it and how highly regarded is it? Are there spaces available?

HRCS's admissions policy is totally unfair and illegal. It favors the white, rich people who are able to stand in line to get the best time stamp and buy their way into the school.

That's ridiculous!! The PCSB allows this, so it's not illegal. And all the lottery spots are given out randomly; it's just the waitlist that is by time stamp. And the line was totally diverse this year. You're just mad because YOU didn't wait in line. Stop being so lazy.

+1 So tired of lazy asses complaining about this! This is the LAST yr there is going to be a line so you snooze, you lose. Stop making excuses. It was just one day out of 365. You obviously don't love your child.

Actually, I didn't need to stand in line. It's complicated.

Highly Regarded School has a VERY Highly Regarded Summer Camp. Cost is $2,000/week, but it's really engaging and totally worth it. Only one catch - the kids are so burned out from learning English/English/French/Klingon/Elvish/Latin (yes, HRCS just added Latin today. Yes, your child is already 3 years behind), the kids are usually in a bit of a language stupor so the entire summer is spent in zen meditation in complete silence. Should work well, especially since some schools will have Silent Meditation Language Immersion Camp for incoming PS-3 kids.

Aftercare is only in silent Elvish though, so consider that as well.

You need to pre register via ESP from 8:00:00 - 8:00:01 or you can't get in.

Does the parent themself have to register via ESP? Or can I pay someone to stay up all night and register for me? Do they have to be in my house to use ESP? This would be so much easier if we could just BRIBE our way in!!!

And re: another post, it's unfair that some people get in via complicated relationships!!! WE WANT COMPLICATED RELATIONSHIPS for EVERYONE!!!

Still waiting for someone to tell me whether HRCS was cancelled for today? My kids are home, but I can't be bothered to engage them in conversation. Why is no one responding to this question, was the school cancelled? Where did my kids spend the day?

This is the reason why only parents who know and can support the immersion language should be admitted to HRCS. Your kids probably told you through ESP in Elvish silent meditation where they were today. You just don't listen. I feel sorry for your children having a clueless parent like you.

Oh screw you! I do love my kids! If I could remember my kids' names, I'd call them over and ask them myself. But I can't and I sent the nanny to the Elvish ESP orientation, so I can't talk to them that way either. You should pity me instead of being so mean!! Why is DCUM so mean to parents just looking for some help???

I heard children of founders get preference.
How can I become a founder?

Well, you rent a time machine and go back to 20XX... Or you can donate a lot of money and get your name added to the founding documents and pray that no one notices.
