Does any of them get a bid?

I don’t think there are bids available for the club division. It’s not one of the divisions for the USAV Girls Junior National Championship tournament which requires all teams to earn a bid to enter. USAV introduced a new end of season tournament called the USA Volleyball Girls Junior Club Championship this year which does not require a bid to play. https://usavolleyball.org/event/2026-usa-volleyball-girls-junior-club-championship/ It is held separately from GJNC and replaces the Patriot division from the past few years (except for 18s who will still have a Patriot division).

So, what is the point of playing in a qualifier, where you cannot qualify even if you are the top team in the division? Does that explain why the CH teams dominated that division? Good teams didn't really care?

If a division offers bids to Nationals, teams from all over the country will compete in it. Bid divisions are often dominated by teams from strong volleyball regions such as NT (North Texas), LS (Lone Star), FL (Florida), etc.

For example, CH's best 13s teams (Paramount and Metro Travel) finished 7th and 9th respectively in 13 Open. The top 5 finishers are from:
1 NT
2 NT
3 NT
4 FL
5 FL

What you are saying is that they register for a weaker division so that they can bring home some hardware...

Not a weaker division—Open is the highest division—but a weaker qualifier.

My DD’s CH team lost to a Texas team in 15 USA at NEQ last weekend, while the Lone Star Qualifier was taking place in Houston at the same time. A Texas team chose Philly over Houston and finished in 3rd place.

So the idea is: find the weakest division at a weaker qualifier to take home some hardware. Even if that comes with no opportunity to get a bid. It's nice to tell a story about winning a division at a qualifier and not getting a bid.

Teams definitely travel to qualifiers that historically have weaker fields, like NEQ. Getting a bid at Sunshine or Lonestar is a lot harder than NEQ. Other qualifiers that are typically a little easier to get a bid are Big South and Far West. Far West in particular is typically one of the last qualifiers and teams will register to have it on their schedule just in case they don’t have a bid, but withdraw if they earn a bid earlier.

Most divisions at NEQ had bids. They just also had the “club” division which did not offer a bid.

BVC 13-1 got a Liberty bid but declined the bid

I had to check that this was Brandywine Volleyball Club. Does anyone know why they declined the bid? Based on the posts here, it seems like participating in qualifiers would not make much sense if a team is not interested in accepting bids.

Spitballing here but it could come down to money. If BVC had already committed to play AAU in Florida to end the year do the players/families want to finance another trip to go to USAV/Indy? As for playing a qualifier if you don't intend to accept bid...eh, for Brandywine having NEQ in Philly is a multi-day local tourney. They are close enough to avoid Stay to Play + get to play a different mix of teams. That seems like some nice perks.

In the process of updating the first post ...

Additional 18 National division bid reallocated to CHRVA (to VA Elite 18s); End result is that Paramount 18 Cozad now gets an 18 Freedom bid
Additional 14 National division bid reallocated (new team not yet listed in spreadsheet); End result should be MDJRS 14 Elite Black now gets a 14 Freedom bid

As already noted, Paramount 17 Nick should now have an Open bid from Big South. VAJRS 15s now have a 15 Liberty bid from NEQ. Brandywine 13-1 declined a bid earned at NEQ.

There were seven (7!) qualiifers that ended on Easter Sunday. This week's spreadsheet updates should be wild. I'm sure I've also missed something else. More to come.

Glad that the 'Open' bid trickled down to Paramount 17 Nick team. They are a great team.

They came in 3rd - with 3 bids available at Big South, the bid didn’t need to trickle down to them. Good on them for doing what they needed to get that bid.

Actually, the bid trickled down. Since the team that won had already secured a 17 Open bid, the bid passed down to the next three teams, so there was no need for a third place match.

when will we see trickle down happen?

Not sure what you mean because it's already been happening.

If a division has four bids, the top four finishers will receive them.

If one of the top four teams already has the same bid, it will trickle down to the fifth-place team, and so on.
