When you're used to having everything at your fingertips- and being the default for leadership in government, corporate america, and in a marriage- having to share now makes you think you're a victim. Their entitlement is eroded and they don't like it and need someone to blame. Trump lets them blame someone now and to do so openly, no matter how awful they sound. But to be clear it is not all men. But yes, a large percentage, imo.

I am a 3-time Trump voter and I wouldn’t say I admire him. I vote for his policies. It’s entirely possible OP’s son voted for Trump for various reasons that would never lead to him voicing admiration for Trump the person.

I’m a Harris-voting, lifelong Democrat, you moron. I am just not sealed inside the deep blue bubble like you are. I want to win the presidential election again some day, and I see nobody on the horizon who even comes close to being a realistic candidate.

For context, I accurately called Trump’s wins months before the election each time, as well as Biden’s. I’ve correctly predicted each presidential election since I started paying attention (Obama). I tried to warn people here that Trump was going to win and got a lot of posts back about how wrong I was. 🤷‍♀️

Also don’t come back about stupid special elections or whatever. They are irrelevant to national voting patterns. The Democrats will win the midterms but at this rate will get trounced again in the presidential election unless a dark horse candidate emerges. And a lot of that has to do with the denialism on display in this thread.

The democratic establishment are cowards, broken, and bought by special interests - I'm not sealed inside the "deep blue bubble" either. But none of that means that boys/males are suffering due to any fault other than their own (or their parents). My parents were brown, Muslim immigrants - and succeeded. Because they worked incredibly hard for it. I have zero tolerance for the temper tantrum throwing white Christian males who think they're being forgotten about, because they're not handed things as frequently as before. Especially if they think Trump's swamp are going to help them. Those morons are a special kind of stupid.
