If you have insurance, you don't need to file a police report.

My insurance company disagrees with you.

Why is Trump not doing the same in Montana or Atlanta?

Coming to every state in the near future.

MAGA is so stupid.

What the heck was DC doing with the $50 Million a year if not making DC safe again?

Remember DC gets money to secure federal activities from protests to inauguration. So not all that money is there to secure the Wharf or 14th and Swann's drug activity by a doger.

And please remember dear leader told his minion to attack Cap Hill police and overthrow the government. He allowed his sycophants to do this and encouraged it with his silence.

So don't tell me he's now upset that a douche was attacked during his drug buy. He's only upset when brown people hurt white people but not when white people hurt brown people.

And yet I'm sure you will complain all day about speeding drivers, even though you're roughly a million times more likely to be murdered than be hit by a speeding driver.

I love it when people make up facts.

I come across speeding drivers every day. I do not come across murders every day.

I mean if you want to spend your weekends on a street corner scoring drugs at 3 am and you don't go anywhere that has vehicular traffic, yes your statement is correct.

Facts are hard for MAGA I know. Your life is crap and it is easier to blame others than to look at your own life and realize you were lazy and didn't do the work to get anywhere.

Filling out forms, having meetings, shuffling paper, reading circular emails, constantly re-organizing departments/branches/divisions, moving personnel around, changing titles, creating powerpoints and spreadsheets, "refining" policy, etc., etc.

I’ve lived here 25 years and have never had even a package stolen and don’t know a single person who is a victim of crime.

But neither my anecdote or yours is relevant nor your made up extrapolation…that’s like me saying there must be zero crime because I have never been a victim.

What neighborhood are you in? Would be helpful context. I’m in LaFayette ES area and I’d say almost 50% of neighborhood have had a package stolen or car window smashed. Most do not call police because they know it would be pointless and could potentially hurt property values.

I live in the Janney ES catchment area and have never had a package stolen here. We did have one package stolen off our porch in the ten years we lived in Petworth. And I once had a grill taken off my patio in Dupont Circle, but possibly by the condo association.

I wouldn’t say I spend any time worrying about porch theft. I also wouldn’t say package theft is likely to be addressed in any way by whatever show of force the White House has in mind.

Columbia Heights haven't had any package theft in over 8 years; this is after we put in a mailroom door. There is theft if delivery folks don't buzz into the building or use the code.

Also haven't had any car break ins on our buildings property - some illegal parkers but no break ins.

Which word is misspelled, PP? Please tell us. But first go look it up and make sure you're correct.

That may not be how you spell it in DCPS, but it’s actually the correct way. So, there’s that.
