+1 I never heard about the cheating, but he was actually stealing from her which is sufficient reason to produce an acrimonious divorce.

What did he steal from her?

He managed her career and essentially skimmed/embezzled money that was hers and not supposed to be part of the management fee.

I read a summary do the case and that isn’t what was reported. What it said was that he and his father acted as her manager / agent and were paid agent management fees for their services. Kelly knew about this. Brandon got her the Voice role and also negotiated her talk show contract. She knew they were acting in that role and she knew they were being paid for it. After the divorce she sued them for the monies she had paid them to act as her manager / agent as Brandon did not have a license to be an agent in that state and therefore couldn’t legally be paid for that role. He was ordered to return the monies that has been paid to him to be her manager /agent.

It is Kelly singing and was posted in response to people saying she was kind, showing grace, cared about the kids or him etc. all of which are untrue. This performance was well after his diagnosis and she is singing FU to him and telling him to F off and how dare he get any of her money. Not kind, no grace, opposite of caring about her kids or him. Trashing your ex in public when they have cancer and your young kids are hearing it isn’t a sign of anything good.

I think it is a bit more complicated than this in the sense that he died of melanoma. It was initially removed in mid/late 2022 and they thought that was it. It then recurred unexpectedly in March of this year. In the time in between, he was as far as I understand, seemingly healthy. So when Kelly trashed him/sued him, etc in the middle period, no one actually knew he was seriously ill.

Nobody local gives a damn about Mr. Blackstock and his grifter daddy. It's very weird for there to be such spirited spin defending the family him here. While squatting in her house, correct? Why would she need her FIL to act as her agent? He's a gold digger, plan and simple. He saw the gravy train ending and tried to continue to fleece her.
