LaxNumbers shows 7 commits for West Springfield, more than any of the teams being mentioned (BF, Lang, Mad, Oak, Rob, YT). Of course, some committed players have not updated LaxNumbers? Are the Spartans going to challenge?

Nope. They will be middle of the pack again.

Highly unlikely. With Coach P gone, their coaching will likely hold them back. It was a hot mess last year when we played them and I don't think they've changed coaches.
