If I could have my federal job or $8,000 I'm going to pick that job every single time and given that he's laid off 40% of the workforce. Yeah this isn't going to move the needle much. Also that $8,000 isn't going to go very far when you no longer have medical insurance and have to pay everything out of pocket, And eggs are $15 a dozen...

Your federal job will be gone shortly and hardly anyone outside DC will feel sorry for you. Musk's smear campaign is working, unfortunately.
