My local store has consistently had eggs. I'm not trying to speak for the entire NoVa area but the Aldi and Lidl I shop at have had eggs every time I've gone except once.

Why are my eggs so expensive! They were cheaper under Biden and we had bird flu then too. Trump promised he would lower the cost of my eggs and yet they’ve gone even higher! Why is so he weak he can’t just lower the price of eggs?!

I work for a hospital and private labs are already inundated with H5 tests because all hospitals are starting to send Flu A positive specimens that are negative for H1 and H3 on a broad respiratory panel for all admitted patients. The testing is VERY expensive and hospitals are also looking at the potential for medicaid/medicare reimbursements being cut which will be disastrous. Because labs are being inundated the return test can take a long time and also means that patients have to stay on isolation precautions the entire time which means utilization of scarce negative pressure rooms, gowns and gloves until the test returns.

If there is anything for which the MAGA party is especially weak and stupid, it is general science and healthcare.
