Can confirm. My "standard strong" kid was accepted to UMD (OOS), AU, and GW. Decided to go to AU with a potential law school after undergrad in mind. Location and academics in chosen majors made a good impression. Very strong merit aid offer resulting in the lowest COA compared to the other two universities sealed the deal.

GW also has a law a school as does University of MD. But maybe it was the merit aid that was the deciding factor?

This is for undergrad. Was responding to a post that talked about going to AU for specific majors like IR, pre-law. I understand that AU’s poly sci, communications, and many other humanities majors are well respected as well.
