You’re out of touch. You don’t think people in the Midwest auto industry realize and complain that nearly all of the parts are flown in from Mexico and China and only final assembly is done in the U.S. - if they haven’t shipped that to Mexico, Korea, or China, too? You don’t think mechanics constantly complain about all the parts they buy now being inferior poorly made garbage from overseas and Mexico?

Apparently the UAW doesn’t agree with you.

UAW response:

The United Auto Workers union challenged Donald Trump to work a 12-hour shift after the former president said a child could do an auto assembly-line job. The union shared a video Wednesday from one of their Ohio members, Dawnya Ferdinansen, challenging the Republican nominee to pick up a shift. “I want to see you assemble parts ‘out of a box’ for 12 hours,” Ferdinansen said. “Until you actually work a manual labor job, you keep the name of the UAW out of your mouth.”

Dude can’t do an interview. He’d have a heart attack if he had to do manual labor.

Can you imagine tiny hands trying to keep up with the actual employees?

Well. Trump is going to try his hand at a McDonalds fryer this weekend apparently. Unclear why.

We’ll see if it goes as well as his weak attempt to go grocery shopping. Or he’ll chicken out like everything else.

Just like there is nothing Harris could do at this point that would make you vote for Trump.

If they don't want to vote for Harris they don't have to vote for Harris. But I can't see how anyone can, in good conscience, vote for Trump, given how clearly cognitively unfit he is to serve. A third choice would be to sit it out. They can absolutely survive Harris and will do just fine under a Harris term (sorry but the MAGA doom and gloom over a Harris term is grossly overblown), but Trump is at this point at best incoherent and at best outright malignant and likely to throw us into yet another set of completely unwarranted and unnecessary constitutional crises and other chaos far worse than his first term.

What were your plans before Biden dropped out? Were you still voting for him? Were you going to vote for a 3rd party? Did you think voting for Biden in his current mental state was better than the alternative? Try to understand how others in the same situation feel. Don’t agree with their decision but you were in the same situation not too long ago.

Biden was tored, slowing down, and a little confused. I trusted his administration to pursue their vision, and I trusted him to step down when the time would come for it

Trump is an erratic and insane career criminal megalomaniac who has never done a good thing for anyone but himself in 60 years.

This is taken out of context, this clip was not about Michigan, it was about how Mercedes "builds" their cars in their SC plant and stamp them "built in the US".

Do you think a child could assemble the imported parts of those vehicles?

Weird. Why would he care where Harris worked summers or whatever? Is he jealous because he’s never done a lick of work in his life?

The person given the power of the most powerful position in the world should never ever be tired, slowing down, and confused on the job. This is why Biden shouldn't be POTUS and why Trump has absolutely no business being anywhere close to power. Sorry, truth hurts sometimes.

Another PPV opportunity for the Harris campaign. I really really hope they film this. I never worked at a McDonald’s but does anyone know if the fryer is heavy? Trump is a bit old to be doing this.

“The former president is expected to stop at the fast food chain on 334 E. Street Rd. in Lower Southampton Township sometime Sunday afternoon, the Bucks County Courier Times reported.”

He cares because a bunch of RWNJ hacks at the Free Beacon IIRC “reported” that Harris couldn’t possibly have ever worked at McDonald’s because - wait for it - she didn’t put that job on her resume to apply for her first legal job a million years ago, a resume that they FOIAd from the Alameda County DA’s office. And McDonald’s corporate headquarters has no record of her ever working there. Stop laughing, I’m completely serious.

So the old man, too tired and weak to attend any campaign rallies, is going to get fast food.

Except the proof is in the pudding - and Biden did, and is doing, a great job as president. He just doesn't seem up for campaigning - which is critical to becoming president.

In any case, it doesn't matter now because he's no longer running!

Just shows how Trumpster cannot wrap their brains around logic. I worked at Baskin Robbins and Macy’s and at an on-campus job and never had any on my resume because I had more relevant internships. I sincerely doubt that in the pre-digital age that any of those places, or other early jobs I had, could verify that I worked there.
