These tall men also better be fit as well. Tall and fat isn’t going to be garnering you anything except many trips to the ER for your frequent health issues.

Ok you cannot control how pretty you are, or how big your boobs are.

No one likes a whiny person. You can control that.

+1.

Being whiny and insecure is even less attractive e than being short.

Whiny? Imagine telling all those black people and women who complain about making less than a white man with the same qualifications that they’re being ‘whiny’. Yet if a shorter man raises the same complaint, now they’re whiny? And if they were to stand up for themselves, then you’d prob claim napoleon complex too.

You have much control over your personal appearance from the way you dress to makeup, and hairstyle. You can’t control height no matter what, just like your race. I bet all those minorities who point out racism are just being whiny, right?

You must be a fragile white guy. Imagine comparing your height to racism.

What a whiner.

Oddly, the vast majority of men who play professional sports in the US are over 6 feet. They’re generally pretty nimble. I’d agree that the 7 footers rarely run/ move well, but that’s a big difference and some still manage it - aka the NBA.

Maybe you’re clumsy in bed? Because if your man is too heavy to F you you’re weak or he’s a big fat dolt.

I prefer my men educated, grad degree and higher. These men are usually clumsy. Maybe I'm clumsy, too and thus it's easier for me to f...k men who are between my height 5'8 to 6ft. Also, I don't date fatties my own BMI is 20 so I'm very unforgiving of fat. But height - I don't hear as long as he's at least my height

By your standard I am probably not educated enough even though I have a bachelor's degree in Engineering physics with a 4.0 GPA. Damn it I would have gone for that PhD

If you’re jockey sized you may have a shot with this poster, who just stated that men who are 5’6 are tall.

And beauty isn’t anywhere near as important for men as it is for women.

I get it’s hard for you being so short, but it’s your loser attitude that is repulsive to women not your height.

What? She said she doesn't consider men who are 5'9" to 6' as short.

But in this country men have this very bizarre view that men have be this that tall.broad shoulder wealthy and on and on geez....then they blame women for wanting tall men

I think this is right.
People talked about economic consequences earlier in the thread. That’s not coming from women. It’s men who think taller men must be more masculine, more powerful, etc.

Actually, it makes sense. Both are genetic traits. There is systemic discrimination against race as well as height. Sure, racism might be worse, but it is still a very fair comparison. The fact that a shorter person points out how they're discriminated against and it is written off a 'whiny' just goes to show how ingrained discrimination against shorter people is. It'd absolutely be the same as telling a black person they're being 'whiny' if they described discrimination at work due to their race.

I'm 52 and have slept with 85 women between now and when I was 17. Not a single one of them weighed more than 125 pounds. So, I don't fault women for being picky over height. Luckily I'm 6 ft 2.

Discrimination against short men is considered ok because men in general are ruthless to each other. Women will always come to another woman’s defense that’s why we have the fat acceptance movement but men are always trying to screw each other over to increase their own status. Sex and dating is zero sum among men so if another guy struggles to get ahead that will only serve to help you in the end. There’s absolutely zero incentive for taller men to care about short men or lower status men in general. We are too cutthroat for that and are overall less empathetic than women.

Not at work though. At least at my job the women are sniping one another ruthlessly lol

Where are the men who get stopped by police because they are short? Where are the generations of short men who served in the US military but couldn't get educational benefits because they were short? Where are those who face housing discrimination? Where are those who are more likely to be convicted because tall people in the juries have less empathy for short men?

Anonymous wrote:I was watching a show on YouTube and this guy was going around asking short men about their insecurities around their height. 99% of them wished they were taller at least 6 feet, they expressed that women don't pay attention to them and a few of the guys said that they think their height holds them back. It's kind of sad because these are young men and their confidence is ready shattered due to their height. I am 5'11 and even at my height I don't come across a lot of men taller than me yet we are acting like tall men are all over the place.

I don't think fat women have the level of lack of self esteem that short men have. Just by judging the way fat women dress it's clear that they are confident in their look. And they may not be wrong because clearly men are approaching them.

Personally I think the issue is that young men have to have a certain way, look a certain way to be attractive to women. I think all men should just focus on themselves. Superficial criteria such a height are just an ego boost for women when they reject men.

Fat women can often be the most self-centered, self-assured annoyingly extroverted people around. They can also be the meanest and most petty. It’s all an act though hoping no one notices how fat they are.

Short guys can have some of the same personality flaws, but less noticeable.

The male height thing is blown out of proportion by both men and women IMO. Sure women will say they prefer over 6ft- blah blah…men will also say they prefer this or that feature on women (often unrealistic). There aren’t enough wealthy 6’2” guys or supermodel looking women to go around- most of us find a suitable partner anyway! Last I checked, about 85% of men are shorter than 6’0”.

These women must have been really underweight if they were over 5’6 or really short
