No, it’s not. We lived in Europe for years and it is just expected that your children drink tea. It’s not something that mentally harms children raised in Europe. They survive without access to Mountain Dew and takis. |
I honestly didn’t think that was MO. |
I'm telling you - something else is going on. We are not getting the full story. This looks like a desperate move. Are they financially over extended? A catastrophic health issue? Marriage trouble? Mental health struggles? This feels....off. |
Go to the Plezi website and see the reasoning behind it. She's framing it as a concern for nutrition and innovation for nutrition. The issue is people are too wise to buy that and it looks like what it is: celebrity grift. |
| Retail space in grocery stores is very competitive and difficult to obtain. Ie, space on a shelf. How did this drink get into every store within a year of launch? |
The gold sneakers and NFTs aren’t able to be bought with SNAP. |
| They ran out of money already? |
Not gonna lie, Trump is going to be jealous of MO's biz savvy. |
Where in Europe? I’ve been born and raised in Switzerland, with relatives in Italy and Germany. Kids drinking tea isn’t a thing. |

In the years ahead, PLEZi has plans to expand beyond beverages and into the healthy snacks space.

Garrett, FACHE, CEO of Hackensack Meridian Health. "PLEZi is a delicious and healthy beverage that aligns with our commitment to providing our patients with healthy choices that reduce sugar and calories and improve health outcomes." https://www.hackensackmeridianhealth.org/en/news/2024/08/08/hmh-becomes-first-health-system-to-offer-plezi-in-its-hospitals This sounds awful…I would not want this served to me as a patient in a hospital. |
Same in France. As a kid for hot beverages I drank hot chocolate. And we had Oasis and SunnyD which were super sugary, as well as grenadine syrup for water and milk. |
|
Face it: It's MUCH better than any beverage the GOP has ever hawked.
Those of you complaining about it are concern trolling. You KNOW your own side is peddling crap that's far worse. We ALL know it, and know just how disingenuous you are about this whole thing. |
It definitely is a thing. 2 of my kids were born in German hospitals…the doctors and nurses were very unhappy that we didn’t give our kids tea. Fennel and chamomile tea especially are favorites. |
Sarah Palin was not selling Big Gulps and making money off of soda. Soda and sugary drinks are the number one EBT buy. |
Disingenuous. Of course you give the occasional tea as a medicinal for bloating and stomach upset. But we certainly don’t drink it as a daily beverage. |
