She could not be lower visibility and was arrested for donating $50 for medical supplies for Ukraine. Unfortunately she was not part of the swap. She has no family in America and I think really no one to advocate for her, although her ex husbands family posted some very nice things about what a wonderful person she is.
A couple months ago someone was posting on the travel forum about going to Belarus and was roundly derided as crazy.

Shit—the kids had to go back? Feel really bad for them. I wonder if the parents had any warning that they would be part of the swap and could start acclimating the kids (or tell them to run away!).

The kids will probably have a really good life in Russia, if I had to guess. Would there be anything to stop them from leaving if they wanted to?

Yes, parents were arrested. Kids were likely in some sort of foster care, so eager to be reunited with their "Argentinian" parents. Kids look old enough to realize they were lied to - maybe 9 and 7 years old?
