The US is ripe for an attack like this one - or worse.

Oh?
We can wreck Tajikistan or whatever other country that wants to host and play footsy with ISIS or other terrorist groups. Make their country a complete mess and walk away from it causing decades of chaos. Is that what they want? If not, maybe they oughtta get their shit together then.

My thoughts as well. Usually terrorists prefer to be martyrs and die in operation. So many questions…

After seeing how brutally the alleged terrorists are being tortured by security forces, in the future others would surely prefer to die. How are more people not talking about the footage of the battered and bruised terrorists in court- one with his ear cut off, one in a wheelchair with a catheter, one barely conscious.

I read about it, but couldn’t watch it myself. If these are indeed the people, good (I guess). But, I am very concerned they’re innocent people just picked off the street. Why would the true perpetrators allow themselves to be captured by the Russians? It makes no sense.

It does t matter if they are innocent or their is irrefutable proof they are guilty. A civilized society doesn’t act like this and condone such blatant acts of torture.

+1

It’s 2024.

I’m appalled that many parts of our global community operate without basic human and civil rights or the rule of law. Sometimes such behavior is conducted under the guise of religious or cultural beliefs…and sometimes it’s just a tough guy dictatorship regime.

Regardless, it’s disgusting…and terrifying.

C’mon. Russia poisons journalists for reporting on things they don’t want out. Let’s not pretend like they’re against torture. This is what authoritarianism gets you.

Yeah I wouldn't be one bit surprised if they just stopped some random carload of muslim dudes and beat and tortured them until they begged for mercy for the torture to stop - even though they didn't do it.

When Russia does things like cut peoples ears off and force them to eat their own dismembered ear, it shows that Russia is no better than the terrorists.

So why is Putin so hell bent on this false narrative trying to link the ISIS attack to Ukraine? He was trying to make the Ukraine connection by claiming they were escaping to Ukraine. But that's false - they were escaping to Belarus.

Vladimir Vladimirovich, this "UkrAInE DiD It!!!" crap is a dog that will not hunt.
