After seeing how brutally the alleged terrorists are being tortured by security forces,  in the future others would surely prefer to die. How are more people not talking about the footage of the battered and bruised terrorists in court- one with his ear cut off, one in a wheelchair with a catheter, one barely conscious. [/quote]

I read about it, but couldn’t watch it myself. If these are indeed the people, good (I guess). But, I am very concerned they’re innocent people just picked off the street. Why would the true perpetrators allow themselves to be captured by the Russians? It makes no sense. [/quote]

It does t matter if they are innocent or their is irrefutable proof they are guilty. A civilized society doesn’t act like this and condone such blatant acts of torture. [/quote]

It’s 2024.

I’m appalled that many parts of our global community operate without basic human and civil rights or the rule of law. Sometimes such behavior is conducted under the guise of religious or cultural beliefs…and sometimes it’s just a tough guy dictatorship regime.

Regardless, it’s disgusting…and terrifying.
