But it seems like Maria and Rachel are the only two that he has fun with. Everything else always so heavy.

I'm rooting for Rachel, but I can see why he likes Maria. That limo ride was the perfect example; her sarcastically saying "Thanks Joey" when he said "you're pretty" was the most real moment of the whole season.

It probably feels nice to relax and laugh and be silly, when you have to spend each date listening to a new person download their personal trauma on you

Maria is the new Corrinne...she's entertaining and a bit unpredictable. Joey likes hanging with her because it gives him a break from having to take the lead and be responsible for the date. He can sit back and let her run the show.

Poor Maria. She needs some help with her hair. And that left eyebrow needs smoothed down. Was she the ‘cave woman’ comment earlier? Those eyebrows at the bridge of her nose. Ugh.

I can't get past her teeth. Can't believe so many find her gorgeous.

Yes to the first point but he’s obviously very attracted to her, can barely keep his hands off her when they’re together.

Producers tell Joey to keep her enemy-of-the-week to maintain the drama. I agree he’s attracted to her but no way is she the one. He’s looking for nice and lower-maintenance. It’ll be Lexi, Jenn, NO Kelsey, or Daisy. Right now he seems most compatible with Kelsey, but that could change.

But Lexi left last night?

Ah, not caught up yet. I'm surprised, they seemed to have good chemistry.

Am I the only one a little annoyed by this? He's 28 years old. If her biological clock is ticking that loudly, she made a poor choice to go on this show. Any reasonable person could have seen there would be a disconnect.

Yes, I wasn’t buying That was the only reason why she left. Even if she meets another man tomorrow, who is to say that he’s ready to have a child now or at all? Seems like there was something else going on. Additionally, she gave him absolutely no time to consider it …that’s not something you make a split decision on.

I think it was telling that he picked out the most conservative dress for her.

That dress was terrible! The colors were not flattering, and she was swimming in it!

Why was that telling?

Yeah. She’s fun and bubbly, but not very beautiful. She’s just thin. Flat chested. Stringy hair.

This. He’s so sweet with the sad stories but young women, do not do this on a date.

Poor Joey. Most of these girls are not fun. Too heavy of a date. He’s just getting to know you. It’s not a therapy session. Let’s see if you two are compatible. Geez.

I think she saw he was developing stronger connections with others, and knew she wouldn't win. She strategically cultivated a sympathy/strength narrative and will parlay that into more followers, interviews, whatever.

There is some evidence to suggest the Reality Steve spoiler floating around was incorrect, or something changes. Anyone curious can google it.

I could see him not getting engaged. He is not over Charity clearly.

Oh it’s not about Charity IMO. In several of the interviews this week it’s sadly obvious, that he doesn’t think he’s worthy of being loved. He needs some therapy.

He seems immature.

He really eliminated most of the girls now. It’s almost down to home-towns. It’s hard to know who he’s falling for.
