Do you ever recognize repeat posters?

Is this the same as the "sweetie" person? It has to be, right? I get especially annoyed with the condescending use of "sweetie" for some reason, but I think they use "honey" as well, and some other term of endearment that I'm forgetting.

Also, the "What are you prattling on about?" poster. They use it all the time, and it almost never even fits the prior post at all.

What are you on about now?

There's definitely more than one of those. I'm one of them and it's no brag. Make this sh*t stop!

+100. So sick of everything being blamed on Boomers. And I'm a Millennial!

Why?!

OMG yes that lady seems potentially mentally ill or at least someone with a fetish. The loving and detailed descriptions of her flatulence and frequent bowel movements are way, way off.

Um, you do understand that of DCUM’s demographic, the majority suffer from a mental illness, right?

+1

Among the people who post here, mental illness is more common than not. A majority are mentally ill. That is simply a fact.

Probably true but a bowel fetish is a unique one.

Agree.

And that’s true - very distinctive! (in a disturbing kinda way lol).

She also probably did the National Menopause day.

I think they have a mental illness. They never contribute anything that's useful.

1) Natural Law Lady who appears whenever anyone say if “redshirting” thrice;

2) Open Marriage Guy who has found this one weird trick that fixes sexless marriage (unilaterally declaring it open);

3) I dearly hope this is one person - the one who constantly refers to “DCUM harpies”. So creepy and misogynistic.

Have not noticed her.

But DEI has turned toxic. It really needs to go away.

Naw, it’s very necessary and needs to be embedded in our schools and workplaces. But there’s someone out there who is extremely triggered and personally offended by it. Of course, she is a raging racist.

DING DING DING!!

We found the “person completely obsessed with DEI topics” poster.

You’d even stayed true to form, and used “naw” like you always do.

Number 3 - Ha!

Never noticed anyone using “DCUM harpies” but, are they the same as the “Coven of Bitter Divorcées” ladies?

Hi. EMDR was an acronym I had to look up when I started reading two months ago. So now I have heard of it. Probably thanks to you. Just wanted to confirm that people are hearing your awareness message.

I can’t be the only one on here making sure I haven’t been outed, right?

Haha.

Unless I’m the dear friend one referenced above. In that case, yes it’s me.

😀

She is the same one who flipped out whenever anyone challenged the failed VPMI (Virginia Pathways in Math Initiative), which sought to dumb-down the state math curriculum in the name of “equity.”

But they use very specific rhetoric and lose their mind every time anyone poses a specific argument (I've had it directed at me and seen it with others). I wish I could post the subject matter but they'd see this, and this thread would become a dumpster fire. They are horrible and very easily identifiable.

Conjure.

Face palm. I wrote that, and I'm like, "that does NOT look right, why isn't it showing it's not spelled correctly??" Because I wasn't even in the ballpark! Thank you!

Not the PP but I LOVE people like you who recognize vocabulary, spelling and grammar corrections as the gift they are. I feel like people who get mad at those corrections are doomed to appear ignorant for the rest of their lives. I am NOT talking about typos either.

DP. My niece witnessed her mother's murder and EMDR made a huge difference in her being able to deal with her PTSD.
