Do you ever recognize repeat posters?

I can identify repeat posters because I have a crystal ball and amazing powers of observation with cat-like reflexes.

Speaking of cats, anyone remember Bobcat Girl who had the missing boyfriend?

OMG yes that lady seems potentially mentally ill or at least someone with a fetish. The loving and detailed descriptions of her flatulence and frequent bowel movements are way, way off.

Um, you do understand that of DCUM’s demographic, the majority suffer from a mental illness, right?

+1

Among the people who post here, mental illness is more common than not. A majority are mentally ill. That is simply a fact.

Probably true but a bowel fetish is a unique one.

Yeah, that one is bizarre.

The “all white women look like like old hags by 25, Asians don’t age, black don’t crack” poster.

I miss Burger King Lady.

I can't believe it's been 9 years since Bobcat Lady! From what I recall, she's since posted that she married the guy, and they now have at least one kid. Little bobkitten.

The lady who jumps on to every perimenopause thread to brag that she is still having regular periods in her mid-fifties.

There is also the pro-home good poster. Though I'm convinced that one does it as satire.

I've always assumed the super pro-home goods stuff was a joke.

Have not noticed her.

But DEI has turned toxic. It really needs to go away.

Naw, it’s very necessary and needs to be embedded in our schools and workplaces. But there’s someone out there who is extremely triggered and personally offended by it. Of course, she is a raging racist.

The "what are you prattling on about?" lady.

That's all I got.

Yes! I'll add "you're unhinged" lady and some person you just posts "loser" when they disagree. I don't think those are really multiple people leaning on the same tired vocabulary.
Also agree with the "I'm French" lady who is always wrong about France so I wonder how long she's been away.

There is a poster who pops up with absurd claims about inflation. Today it was $40 for a delivered Hawaiian pizza. Jeff just deletes his nonsense.

There are always some posters on the Relationship threads who brag that they met their kind dorky poor husbands while they were in grad school, had the brilliant foresight to see their future earning potential, and now the guys have morphed into millionaire hotties.

Is this the same as the "sweetie" person? It has to be, right? I get especially annoyed with the condescending use of "sweetie" for some reason, but I think they use "honey" as well, and some other term of endearment that I'm forgetting.

Also, the "What are you prattling on about?" poster. They use it all the time, and it almost never even fits the prior post at all.

People have been asking what are you prattling on about here for a decade or more. It’s not one person.

If anyone has ever said that to you, you obviously posted something incredibly stupid.
