I agree the joke wasn’t malicious just not funny, so she didn’t laugh or smile, which is a reasonable reaction. As far as I know, she hasn’t made any statement about the joke, right? Her fans definitely take it seriously, though. And I say this as a casual Swiftie. It’s ok to say “that’s not funny” and move on. The people who do have a reason to criticize Jo Koy right now are Greta Gerwig, Margot Robbie, and everyone else from the Barbie movie.

PP here. I admit I didn’t watch the show, and only read about it the next day. I’ll have to read up on his other comments. Sounds like this may have damaged his career. I also read he only had 19 days to prepare.

Yeah, but it did make me think about my thoughts on body type. The Queen’s Gambit actress basically had on sequin suspenders. But she is small up top so it didn’t look as inappropriate. Is that fair? I don’t know.
