Trying to be far too impressive at gymnastics. From what I've been told the body goes rogue and attacks everything. I might be wrong. But the important bit is hopefully the antibiotics were given early enough to fight it off.

I thought you said she had ab surgery?

And was there no post op visit to the doctor?

NP but ab was clearly a typo. "It came from ab infection from the surgery wound," is very obviously supposed to say 'an infection.'

OP here - we're hopefully have her awake in the next couple of hours. She's had a couple of wobbles in the night but the main issue is just her lungs. If she has to breathe heavily it's putting pressure on the rest of her body, which it can't take. The level of support she has been on through the night has been lower so they're optimistic with extra support she can breathe by herself without over exertion. It's so hard to see my little girl like this so I feel like I need to see her awake to speak to her etc.

Missing my youngest as well. My heart goes out to any parent that has had to go through this.

Thanks again, the caring and love has meant my daughter has never been alone in this dark place.

I'm optimistic, I'm going to see her smile in a few hours and will be an emotional wreck.

Sorry if this post is a word salad, coffee is no longer as effective
