Find an actual NYer who'll defend him, instead of tweets from a bunch of outsiders using the migrant thing to defend him. HE is the one who said NYC was a sanctuary city and only spoke out after he realized he was an idiot for saying it when he couldn't handle the mess he encouraged. Stop making excuses for this clown. He did nothing for us. All he did was go places for fundraisers (including a family member of mine who everyone now ridicules for raising money for this a-hole).

I am a NYer. Born and raised.

If you actually live in NYC and you're defending him, there's something wrong with you. There is no way in hell you could make excuses for what he has done. You're being ridiculous watching what's going on and thinking he was do anything to even alleviate the problems. Where do you live that you can tell yourself he's been good for the city?

+1 He was shady AF before and immediately starting after he was elected. It has nothing to do with anything he said about migrants.

2 years ago? It was acceptable.

Adams criticizes Biden’s immigration policies?

Adams is suddenly corrupt.

No, not suddenly. That’s the point. This investigation has gone on for years.

What are the charges?

They won’t be unveiled until tomorrow but

Indictment now unsealed. Wire fraud, bribery, and solicitation of campaign money from a foreign national.

Whoops and conspiracy. I wonder if the bribery charges will survive the recent corrupt SCOTUS decision that basically legalized bribery.

So Adams basically did the same thing Trump and Flynn did, but they haven't been charged and Adams was.

Go figure.

Isn't it amazing how all these "politically motivated" indictments also just happen to have a mountain of evidence behind them?

So NYC voters knew corrupt mayor Eric Adams was taking money from a foreign government/country? That’s why they suddenly are disgusted by him?

“…charges include the pre-Gracie Mansion years: "Federal prosecutors said that Mr. Adams 'sought and accepted improper valuable benefits' since at least 2014, when he was then the Brooklyn borough president, according to the indictment."

Yup, getting serious Rod Blagojevich vibes.

To be fair, he was supported by a lot of the same people who support Trump, so it woudn't be a surprise at all to see him turn MAGA.

That $10 million from Egypt that may have gone to Trump's campaign in 2016, where--wasn't it Bill Barr?--the ongoing investigation was ordered to stop.

The political motivation is in the target selection. There are huge numbers of politicians with a mountain of evidence.

The GOP will embrace him with open arms and he will fit right in.

Politically motivated. This administration targets all of their critics from Trump to Elon Musk to Dem Congressman Henry Cuellar and now this indictment. The minute Adams criticized Biden-Harris for the border crisis, everyone knew something like this was coming.

Anonymous wrote:Another politically-motivated case by the politicized Biden-Harris DOJ. Adams must have known that they would come after him after he criticized them for creating the border crisis. They bankrupted his city with the border crisis, costing New York taxpayers over $5 billion. This is payback for his criticism of this rotten, corrupt administration.
