Joseph Ziegler (a gay democrat) testified under oath that the IRS found that money was paid to Hunter Biden and associates from 2014-2019:
From Romania - $3.1 million
CEFC subsidiary - $3m
Hudson West III [CEFC] - $3.7m
Burisma - $6.5m
Total foreign income streams: $17m

Ok. Still waiting on a crime.

There is nothing criminal in those transactions and republicans know that. Any American politician (or their family members) should be able to receive money from foreign businesses. Nothing new here.

What was the money for? What goods or services were exchanged for such large sums of money? And why did the grandchild of the president receive foreign funds?

I recall reading as it related to Burisma, that they were incorporated in Delaware, as millions of companies are, and as an attorney licensed in Delaware and versed in corporate law, that he was providing that service specifically.

Sure.
And, what about the 8 other Biden's that got money?

I don't know, but to date, none of it is illegal. If you don't like it, ask the GOP to pass a law.

I tend to doubt the credibility of people who suddenly become whistleblowers when they realize they are under investigation. But that’s just me.

They are very credible and they brought receipts.
I had to chuckle at the line of questioning some of the Democrats took. They couldn't argue with the facts, so instead of staying on topic they pivoted to Trump and George Floyd. The questioning by Summer Lee (PA) was hysterical. She may as well have said, "I'm not sure what I am doing on this committee so let me talk about the wrongs done to black and brown people."

The receipts they brought are selected. There are plenty of journalists and their twitter feeds that have ripped their testimony to shreds. But Fox News won't do that for you, so you can believe the lies you are being fed by the GOP and the spin from Fox News. I supposed you will go to Comet Pizza tonight looking for their basement as well.

Sure. If EmptyWheel is one of them..... LOL.

What has become evident is that Merrick Garland's DOJ is biased and corrupt.

So the Trump appointee who was given free reign to take down a sitting president and passed is.....corrupt?

LOL, the chair once again bails out the respondent before he can answer and as he was flailing about the leaks.

It is illegal if they got something in exchange.

Pay close attention to when it was that they were blocked. It was in 2019 and 2020. Remind me again, who was in the White House then? Oh, that's right, Donald Trump. Remind me again, who was in charge of DoJ then? William Barr.

Either the right wing hit squad can't do math and can't keep track of who was in charge when, or you're all trying to push an utterly ludicrous theory that somehow Biden had more control over Trump's DoJ than Trump did.

That was weird

The witnesses not only had no proof Joe Biden was involved, they had proof that he wasn’t involved.

Throw this on to the bone pile of failed GOP conspiracies

Because they were 'restricted' and 'limited' into following the evidence. This came from a gay democrat.

Structuring is illegal. Money laundering is illegal. Hiding income and not declaring it to avoid paying taxes is illegal.

Lying on federal form ATF 4473 firearms background check is illegal.

FARA is illegal, ask Gail Luft who did the same thing that these whistleblowers claim was recommended for Hunter.
