I mean good for you if you paid your debt off, but people were will within their rights to expect the terms to be honored.

Agree! But they chose not to keep track because it benefited them financially! They also lied to loan holders and put them into the repayment plan that suited the business more than the borrowers.

Thank you to the Biden administration for identifying the problems with the student loan servicing system! After 20 years of paying, my loan was to be forgiven per the original loan agreement and the loan counseling class I sat through. Thank you for honoring those terms. And for refunding my over payments.

+1, my loans were just forgiven through the TPSLF program and my over payments are being refunded. I still can’t believe it.
