Restaurants you used to like but have gone downhill

I really hate to be judgmental but I stopped in to order at a Dominos and the people working there looked like super trashy hard narcotic addicts. I pretended I had a phone call and walked out. You can't blame entry level people for not wanting to work service industry jobs when they can work from home in a customer service job for often more money.

This. It’s an embarrassment at how consistently BAD the food quality is in the DMV. It’s practically inedible. Nothing is fresh or high quality ingredients. Even if they are, the kitchen is messing them up so much that they never appear to be. My addition to the list is Dumplings and Beyond dumplings are not the same.

I agree and I love going out to eat. Post pandemic, restaurants have raised their prices, added " junk fees" on top, shrunk entree sizes, gotten rid of complimentary bread at many places, cut staff, and reduced service. Very sad.

Cactus Cantina sucks now. The food isn’t anywhere near the same quality or taste that it used to be. And they eliminated some favorite dishes. The portions changed too.

Agree. I went — for my first and last time — last summer, with visitors. It was not good at all. None of us, with very different orders and very different tastes, liked our food.
