Except authentically poor people don’t exactly dress like Dust Bowl Okies (a somewhat au courant look which is very expensive to replicate with natural fabrics.), they frequently wear cheap and cheerful synthetic fabrics a couple of sizes too small. Burlap is too expensive. |
