'Appalling' standardized test scores in wake of covid school closures

It's an absolute joke that people use scores like this as an opportunity to blame teachers. They have been and are continuing to work to mitigate student outcomes. Meanwhile, DCPS central office was given 195 million in ESSER money and only spent 2-3m of it through ineffective programming. Stop yelling at the people who have the least control.

Actually, there were.

Most of this thread is simply repeating things that have been posted over and over again in numerous threads. Nobody is even bothering to talk about the test scores anymore. The last several pages are basically a loop of the same posts. Therefore, I'm going to lock the thread.
