The simple fix to that is stop taking non-DCC kids into Blair.

You mean Woodward.

And yet the country council wants to UPZONE to build more multifamily housing, when we have no school infrastructure to support this housing.

It's nuts.

It's insane and then we have inept BOE member making decisions. WJ is unbearable.

3500 should never be a HS size. It's just not good for kids. Half of our taxes goes for this and we get school with 3500 kids.

Some schools in New York have bigger size, i.e. Stuyvesant.

Are they set up for that many? Our schools aren't with one cafeteria, etc.

Um but NYC is a little bigger and more concentrated than MoCo.

Not half our taxes, although it should be (and was when our schools were excellent). Now more like 46%

Nope. Blair has one cafeteria and one lunch period for the entire school. Kids sprawl out all over the place, including hallways, classrooms and outside (it’s a closed campus so they can’t leave). I can’t imagine how some of them actually buy lunch. My kid always packs.
