| Do you all think that the non-incumbent board members will promptly hire new leadership at MCPS central office to save the system for future of ALL students? |
No. Because contrary to DCUM views most of the county first view MCPS as a dumpster fire and knows that it’s one of the better school districts in the country. Further the board doesn’t hire central office they hire a Superintendent. Central office and everyone else is the purview of the Superintendent. |
Not sure if you are right or wrong in thinking that way. Change is at all levels is always good. New ideas and a fresh beginning will help teachers and students achieve their full potential. Why do you oppose that? |
At what? Name something |
She's so talented and dedicated. I think we're super lucky to have such a great super! |
Think she'll ask the National Guard for support to fill in as teachers next month? |

Brilliant. Well done! |
Notice there is no response to these? The MCPS cheerleading squad is out in force, that's for sure. |
Great points and clearly the earlier poster was looking to create a false narrative based on half truths. I'm glad someone tried to set the record straight. I usually just ignore their winging. |
Half-truths? How is that? The responses seem way more detailed than your opinion. Please detail each half-truth please. |
Agree their points are dead on. The McKnight Stalker is sewing angst by spreading misinformation. |
What misinformation? Be specific. The only McKnight Stalkers on this board is the cheerleading squad. You're claiming she's doing such a great job yet can't name something major she's done that's good and there's a lot of articles about how she royally screwed up. How does that make her any good as a sup when the MCEA says "MCPS leadership has consistently shown a dereliction of duty and a lack of competence"? Teachers and staff are fleeing MCPS and now the school system has a major issue in August. If you thought MCPS had problems last year, just wait to see what happens this year. She has 21 years experience, and in one year she had this many screw ups? Come on. Get real. The list is just going to grow and MCPS will be the laughing stock of DC. She needs to be replaced. Now. |
I don’t. There’s a new Super, she has some new staff, there will be new principals all over, and obviously new teachers and staff. If anything there seems to be LOTS of change at many levels. |
