Off-topic, but anyone purchasing a vehicle such as this has no regard for the safety of pedestrians or children.

| This is not a luxury SUV and like all the other cars, this is way overpriced right now. |
No, many buy new cars for safety & reliability & warranty protection; plus, during the current supply chain caused shortage, ordering a new car can cost the same or even a bit less than a recent low mileage readily available new car. |
| The Denali is a nice car. But there is another trim for the Yukon now that is higher end. It costs about 100k. Fittingly called the ultimate. |
This. It’s insanity that people don’t care about this. |
| I despise this particular suv. The grill in the front is so hideous. |
The pedestrian is almost always at fault in fatal vehicle accidents involving a pedestrian. |
And for that they deserve to die? Vehicles can be better designed so that pedestrians don't die. |
| Like everything it depends where it’s parked. If you live in a mediocre neighborhood it’s tacky. If you live in a $4 million mansion and own a beach house, it signals you’re rich with a bunch of travel sports playing kids or grandkids. |
This. Their bestselling car because it's "affordable" and has the Porsche name. But no way you're getting kids, much less kid stuff, in a Macan. |
One of the old Land Cruisers. |
This has got to be the most DCUM flex ever. |
Little bit? A new full size Range Rover is probably $50,000 more. Totally different league. |
I went to a steeplechase in Loudoun via a friend whose family has horses (not wealthy at all just MC/UMC) and seriously thought I was in some type of UK version of a colonial Williamsburg re-enactment. Horse people are probably the most ridiculous "landed old money gentry" costume cosplayers I've ever seen in my life. |
| I mean ... it looks very BIG. So. Not surprised at the cost. |
