Insurrection Hearings 6/9-6/23

This is all so flipping tedious. Just an immense waste of time. Trump is an idiot, and a bigot, and 100 other things. I don’t give a sh$t anymore. He’s gone. He’s irrelevant and an embarrassment to all his sycophants now trying to distance themselves.

At the same time, this was not an “insurrection”. It was a protest by a bunch of idiot rednecks, really people who would deserve pity and empathy if they weren’t so obnoxious.

But you can’t have an insurrection with no guns, no bombs, no plan to overthrow the government, and no intent to seize power and rule. That didn’t exist. It was a bunch of dumbass theatre and I’m tired of otherwise reasonable and smart people pretending that the American Government was on the brink of collapsing. Such a bunch of hysterics. Get over yourselves.

So much left out? Where was that Trump guy directing people? Police moving ropes and waving people into the Capitol?

Republicans are insinuating that the commission comments were taken out of context. Take a listen to IVANKA’s comment, hoax humpers!

I am too. Too many things in this world are chilling. So bury your head in the sand, while the adults do something about it.

The crowd wanted to stop the election certification.

They did not need bombs for that.

They killed police officers without bombs or guns.

They could have killed congresspeople, senators or the VP if they had found them.

Again, you cannot claim that just because you did not find a bomb, and just because congress was able to evacuate -sometimes by a few seconds!!! - and no elected representative was kidnapped or assassinated, that THERE WAS NO INTENT. The intent is perfectly documented and clear.

Just because the attempted coup failed, it doesn't mean it did not exist.

What police officers were killed? The only one I know that was killed was crushed by a car days later and that was not a Trump guy

1. Some police officers didn't want to die.
2. Some police officers were on the coup side.
3. What's your point?

Jason Miller on Twitter:

1) / Here’s what came next in my testimony, which Liz Cheney failed to play:

Q: Okay. And what was the President's reaction then when Matt said to him, "Hey, we've looked at the numbers, you're going to lose"?
A: I think it's safe to say he disagreed with Matt's analysis.

That it wasn’t shown.

Miller: 2/ Q: On what basis? Did he give a basis?
A: He believed that Matt was not looking at the prospect of legal challenges going our way and that Matt was looking at purely from what those numbers were showing as opposed to broader things to include legality and election integrity…

3/ …issues which, as a data guy, he may not have been monitoring.

Miller is saying the video was deceptively edited

Cheney said the committee has evidence that the Trump White House had evidence of planned violence that day. Did I miss where that evidence was provided?

Because it's not important. The thrust of the argument is that Trump was told multiple times there was no election fraud, and he went ahead and spread lies anyway, and encouraged people to fight. They fought. If some police officers let them in, that has no bearing on the argument presented. The evidence was shown to prove that there was a war zone in parts of Capitol, and this has been amply demonstrated.

The legal challenges that were so frivolous that Giuliani lost his license?

Miller, grow up. You done wrong. Don't be an idiot on top of everything else.

Re-read what you typed. Trump is spouting indefensible nonsense and Miller knows it. The legal challenges did not go his way, yet Trump continued to pretend there was fraud. The President KNEW he was lying and egging on protesters based on lies.

It's going to be presented later. This was just the first part of seven.
