And clearly we shouldn't teach anything about government and civics when our democracy is in trouble. . . |
Considering this is for incoming freshmen, the higher 75th percentile actually reflects better on CNU. Suggests stronger students want to attend. Why are you being so negative? It's really strange. |
My daughter attends UVA. But what is actually wrong with you? Do you hear yourself? Were you born nasty? Or this learned behavior from living in the DMV area? Because it's not ... normal. |
It really isn't. I haven't lived anywhere else people have acted like this. |
DP. Perhaps an engineering student shouldn’t be looking at LACs? Just a thought. |
| I think CNU may be the most attractive of the Virginia public universities, or at least close. |
Not a particularly intelligent thought given the significant number of engineering programs at LACs. |
|
Would those of you with experience please
share how much merit aid? Our DD is interested, has high stats and grades. TIA. |
It is definitely beautiful. |
William and Mary, UVA, Mary Washington, and CNU are all very nice. |
| What's the engineering program like? |
Here you go: https://cnu.edu/academics/departments/pcse/majorsminors/ |
and PP is a snob who doesn't understand that some of us can't afford private or OOS. PP doesn't understand that some kids, like my DD, don't have the grades or test scores, or EC record to get into UVA. PP reeks of elitism. |
+1. Agree. But this website attracts weirdos who are unhappy so enjoy bashing other human beings |
apparently, you don't know much about the engineering programs offered (when offered at all) at SLACs. My SLAC pretends to have a joint program with Cal Tech. Problem is - after two years at the SLAC they can't amass the core subjects or grades to move on to Cal Tech in engineering. Research this well. A lot of SLACs offer 2-2, 3-2 and 2-3 programs which are cute on paper but do not lead to a career in engineering. |
