| What are folks experiencing? |
| Mostly just manageable acid reflux for a few days after injecting. |
Check back in 5 years
|
| No one knows. It’s experimental. |
| No side effects here, just weight loss 🙂 |
10 years when you see a goofy attorney TV ad with a toll free number to call if you got cancer, etc from Ozempic use. Pharma companies are insane...all about making a quick $$ NOW and what comes later becomes a problems for all others. |
Ozempic has been in use for 7 years. |
| Nothing. |
|
Well there’s already a class action for ozempic injuries from the failure to warn of serious side effects.
That said, my symptoms have been reflux, nausea, and losing 20 lbs in three months. |
| Nausea, constipation, tiredness. Basically I felt like my first trimester. That lasted about 6month and then it all just sort of faded away. I’ve been on it for 2 yrs now and no more side effects. |
|
I had all the side effects! Any unpleasant gastrointestinal symptom you can think of, I had it.
Now a year in and 50lbs down, I can’t even feel it. |
I’ve followed these just since I’m on it to stay informed, and as far as I can tell people are ignoring pretty dire symptoms. I mean, I get that you can have occasional side effects and stay on it but if it’s clearly messing up your digestion you need to stop taking it! |
| Nausea and tiredness for me. |
|
My friend just started taking it. I don't recall her mentioning pre-diabetes and she likes to party and drink a lot so I assume not.
Dumb Questions -- Is this prescribed now just for weight loss and is it common for doctors to prescribe it for any patient (even those who haven't tried lifestyle changes and exercise)? |
I have been on Ozempic for 6 years in June. I use it for T2D, not weight control. It has been great at keeping my blood sugar in check. I have zero side effects while on Ozempic. I had terrible side effects while on Metformin for my T2D. That's why my doctor started the process of testing other T2D drugs. The Ozempic for weight loss craziness is new, not the drug. |
