I wouldn’t vote for Trump either but that doesn’t mean I am gonna vote for Biden. He can go to hell. At least Trump doesn’t pretend to have a moral compass, Joe has us all fooled pretty well, he disgusts me. |

It's not that people are voting for Trump, it's that Biden has lost supporters over Gaza. That's all it'll take. My guess? SCOTUS will say that mail-order abortion drugs can't be restricted, so there'll be less need to vote for Biden over abortion rights. The only thing left will be Gaza, and unless Biden puts his money where his mouth is, he will lose Michigan, Minnesota, and possibly Wisconsin. |

Reading this I am struck by the echoes of the Holocaust and how the murder of 6 Million Jewish people was achieved not just through the weaponization of hate by a demagogue, but by the use of technology ( gas chambers, mass train deportations, tax rolls/ data ) was used to mechanize and enable Millions to be murdered. Not even 100 years later and it seems here Humanity is again - only now- it is Genocide by AI Machine Learning with millions of Palestinians it's targets and already tens of thousands murdered in addition to Journalists, Medical Doctors, Nurses and Aid workers. For what? Killed because , imho, their humanity is the last obstacle to Netanyahu's wish to exterminate the Palestinian people. If Alex Karp has indeed provided this technology to Israel and is supervising it's use then he along with Netanyahu, Ben Gvir and Smotrich should be indicted in the Hague and sentenced for Genocide. |

How will Israel eliminate Hamas if they immediately terminate their war this very second? I’ve been one of the most vocal Israel supporters in this thread - which means Jeff will almost surely delete this post - but this is what frustrates me and many other Israel supporters and Jewish people. Since the beginning we have very much been asking for an alternative, another way to end the hostilities and eliminate Hamas - a widely recognized terrorist organization whose primary goal remains the genocide of the Israeli (and arguably Jewish) people - and protect Israel from the ongoing assault. And nobody ever has even attempted to provide this answer, not on here, not on TikTok, not in the protests. It’s all “Ceasefire now! Ceasefire tomorrow! Ceasefire Forever!” But Israel has been negotiating for a ceasefire for over a month now, and it is Hamas that has refused all offers. So what is Israel supposed to do? Is Israel supposed to just unilaterally declare a one sided ceasefire, letting Hamas continue to bombard their country and trounce over their borders in repeated recreations of 10/7? Because “The Iron Dome is 100% effective and Hamas hasn’t proven to be able to get past Israeli defenses” according to these people? There has never been an answer, and I think it stems from a deep misunderstanding of the reality of war, coming from someone who has lived in a war zone before (and no, before you say anything, that war zone was not Israel). There are no magic new missiles that home in on Hamas membership cards, there are no x-ray goggles for the IDF to use to check whether or not the metal rod behind the back of a Palestinian running full speed at their position is part of an RPG they plan to pull out to fire apron them, or from a medical stretcher because they are an EMT trying to run in to save dying civilians. There is no way to know. In fact, it’s downright impressive the targeting we have now. In WWII, ‘targeting’ a bomb strike was pointing a bunch of planes towards a major city and telling them to drop bombs on anything that was made of metal. |

You haven't been listening then. Because what people have been saying is that the only way out is general peace, a real two state solution. The cycle must be broken. Hamas will exist as long as Ben Gvir/Smotrich exist. They are flip sides of the same coin of fate. |

People answered this for you dozens and dozens of times and you just don’t like the answer. Israel needs to conduct its operations in compliance with international law. Meaning— you don’t kill aid workers. Meaning— you don’t allow protesters to keep food trucks from reaching starving children. Meaning— you don’t have senior members of your government talking about ethnic cleansing the civilian population. This isn’t “things that upset us about modern war” they’re the international humanitarian law that govern armed conflict. The ones Israel signed up to when it acceded to treaties. No one forced them, they asked to play by these rules. |
