I hate showing my arms (fat) but all the cute dresses are sleeveless. Is there any good solution? Cardigan? |
What about with an over-sized blazer or lady jacket instead? And you could belt the blazer. |
Halsbrook is my go to for dresses with sleeves.
I’m old though. But rich, motherfockers. That’s why I like that website. |
What season/event are you looking for? How old are you? |
Cropped jackets are much cuter with dresses |
How curious |
I hate my arms too. Flabby and never tan. Last sleeveless dress I wore a form fitted short shrug and didn’t look frumpy (in my mind anyway lol) |
denim jacket? |
Linen blouse over the dress in a coordinating color? |
Own your arms. Really. Mine are fat too. I feel less self conscious letting them show than layering and it being obvious. |
Wear a very good bra that doesn’t show. And have excellent posture. It helps! |
I am getting a lot of mileage from my white jean jacket! |
Shrugs are a bit matronly. A normal cardigan that is cropped looks better if you can find one. Sometimes these have three quarter sleeves.
A lot of hate for Talbots here, but the past several summers they have sold jean jacket styles in linen that might work for you. Still a bit early for them I think. |
Yes but it’s just a matter of matching the dress to the appropriate topper - leather jacket, denim jacket, blazer, bolero, traditional cardi, etc. |
Just buy a dress with flutter sleeves/flattering 3/4 sleeves and be done with it. Or get a spray tan and accept your arms. Cardigans and jean jackets look dated and fitted blazers/jackets look best on thin people and bulky/sweaty on the rest of us. |
