What’s your favorite face moisturizer?

I’m in my 40s and I have yet to find anything that doesn’t aggravate my sensitive, acne prone skin . I’ve tried most of the ones recommended for sensitive skin (Cerave, Neutrogena, Vanicream). When I look up more expensive brands, the reviews are mixed. I use Elta MD sunscreen in the morning but didn’t have luck with the moisturizer.

I like Caudalie moisturizing sorbet, not the cream.

I have a moisturizer from a brand called Mishel. I can't find it here in the US, or even online. My DH prepares tax returns for a friend who lives in Thailand and apparently in his culture (not Thai fwiw) when you send a thank you gift, you send something for the wife. Years ago he sent me this face cream, and my DH told him how much I liked it, and he's been sending it every year ever since.

I just looked and can't find it online at all, but I think when I googled it years ago I found it to be a Czech brand? Like drugstore stuff? I don't know -- it is super pink and smells of roses and I love it.

I’ve been loving the Kat Burki Vitamin C Moisturizer. Previously used Ceravae which was fine, but i never felt like it fully absorbed.

I love Paula’s Choice Replenishing moisturizer. I can’t do anything with niacinamide in it. This one is simple but effective.

It would be helpful if you could identify what ingredients irritate you. You've listed the go-to brands. If you can't figure out why the aren't working, it'll be hard (and expensive) for you to find something that works.

Are you sure it's the moisturizer? What other products do you use on your face - cleansers, makeup, sunscreen, etc?

This is a good site to find out what the ingredients in products do: https://incidecoder.com/

I've got sensitive skin and rosacea. While I'm in with most of the products you listed, I LOVE Kiehls Ultra Facial Cream. You might also try serums under moisturizer. I like The Ordinary's Soothing & Barrier Support Serum. It's not expensive and really easy on my skin. I especially like it after IPL treatments.
