One ISIS hit here in the USA (or even little knife and acid attacks) and everyone denouncing Israel will support them;

We had 9/11. Even in the bloodiest battles in Iraq and Afghanistan, we never deliberately starved civilians to death.

What I don't understand is Hamas terrorists could surrender, release hostages and end the suffering of their people. Why don't they do that?

Why do IDF soldiers murder American teenagers in the West Bank with nothing to do with Hamas?

Evil doesn’t need an excuse, whether Hamas or Israeli evil.

Not sure what that has to do with Hamas hiding like cowards in Gaza.

No sure what that has to do with the IDF killing more aid workers in 6 months than have been killed in all global conflicts in the past two decades.

You're responding to the wrong post then, another non-sequitur.

Not sure what that has to do with Israel committing daily war crimes while continuing to cast itself as victim.

The Israel government does not want the hostage released. They believe as along as there are hostages the IDF can continue bombing and killing civilians. So let just stop with the Israelis wanting the hostages back.

Also Israel has said release the hostage, keep the hostages, hamas surrenders, don’t surrender, etc, it does not matter. We Israel will kill all Hamas. So why would they surrender or release the hostages? Israel says they will continue to kill all in Gaza no matter what Hamas does. So sure looks like Israel wants a fight to the last man and hostages.

Though it does not seem like Israel is able to eliminate Hamas. This will go on for years.

Ther will be no elimination of Hamas. What Israel is doing now will breed the next generation of terrorists. They either don't realize this, or simply don't care.

That’s a talking point that Israel and its unconditional, blind supporters keep spewing. NOBODY paying attention without a dog in this fight believes ANYTHING Israel has to say, much less this laughably empty talk. It’s only said because effectively satisfying that condition is literally impossible - therefore, it’s an empty promise with no risk of redemption.

You guys better step up your lying game, and fast - it’s 2024, not 1944. People unravel your pathological lies in minutes now, not years and decades.

The obstacles to Gazan survival have been removed. How convenient. Let the planning for those "very valuable waterfront properties" begin.

I still think it's so strange how sometimes Gaza is an uninhabitable open air prison, and sometimes it's a valuable beach resort that is ripe for outsiders' development.

Really? Confusing? Let's see - imagine a Four Seasons Resort. Pretty nice, right?

Now imagine that Four Seasons resort fenced in, with no more than a trickle of life-sustaining supplies airdropped in, and the entire fenced-in resort has been overrun by serial killers. Not so nice anymore, right? Same place. Different circumstances.

Sincerely, how did you guys ever sell anyone on being better than everyone else? The first "chosen people" utterance should have been laughed outta the room.

Except the people living there could have done whatever the f they wanted there. It's so valuable? Why didnt they invest in it and make it profitable.

Easier to keep your people in misery and blame Israel I guess.

Do you really think they were free to do whatever they wanted there? Did you have no idea that Israel has long restricted what materials can come into Gaza? Good luck farming without machines or fertilizers, good luck building without concrete or steel, good luck manufacturing without lathes or drills and good luck running a modern society without communication equipment or infrastructure for communications equipment. All of those things require Israeli permission to import.

Maybe if they had prioritized anything other than building tunnels ?

At what point in time was their an option to develop Gaza for tourism for the benefit of Palestinians. Name a single year when that would have been possible. Israel is the same country ripping out centuries old olive groves in the west bank because the Palestinian farmers who have been living on the land for generations are supposedly stealing the water

The U.S. should launch a retaliatory strike to take out Netanyahu permanently for killing Americans in the Middle East, including Jacob Flickinger. Take out his entire corrupt family, too. Why do Jews think they can just keep killing Americans with impunity?

So you expect a terrorist organization to be more humane than a so-called modern democracy?

It’s almost as if Netanyahu relishes his role as the Butcher of Gaza. History will not be kind to that egotistical executioner.

This Gaza war has succeeded in forcing Israel to take off its mask, to reveal its hideous countenance for all to see, and for its unconditional supporters to begin facing the consequences of their racist, hypocritical worldview.

+1
So many of us used to support Israel unconditionally. As you say, this war has revealed Israel’s hideous, callous racism.

Like you, I have often wondered why incarcerated people have NOT ONCE founded a Fortune 50 business. NOT ONCE. I mean, all that free time. So much free time. Why is Wall Street not just absolutely littered with successful enterprise businesses that have been built from the ground up, right there in ADX Florence. Someone better look into that ...
