Do you have experience with Almased protein/weight loss powder?

Anonymous
More specifically, did you gain back the weight after you stopped? Did you do a full week of only protein shakes or did you mix it up with certain (what) kinds of real food?

I have no idea what this protein powder or program is, but if you follow a specific diet/food plan like only drinking proteins shakes for a week then of course you will gain any weigh lost back if you just go back to eating how you did before the diet. I have seen this with all my friends who have done thing like Optiva- you lose weight when you eat their foods/follow their plan, but when you go back to eating real food you have no idea who to do so and gain the weight back.

I used this when I was younger. It's hard to stay on at first. Once you get past the first week, it gets easier. It doesn't taste great unless they've changed things. I was 140. I got down to 110/115 in three months with exercise. Almased did burn fat, and I had a six-pack by the end. I did gain a few pounds when I stopped taking it, but I also stopped exercising. I stayed 120/125 for about two years. I did continue to eat moderately well until then. I gain the rest back over a 5-year period, plus some after kids by not eating well. It did help, and you'll definitely have to continue to eat well and exercise afterwards. If you do try it find ways to make it taste better and have a plan for after. Love and light 💜

Check out their research page Almased.com/research - it shows there are actual studies that Almased helps you burn fat and calories. Nothing better than science that shows that it works. Much better than a regular meal replacement for sure because it has bioactive peptides and its natural. I dont like the artificial meal replacements like Slim Fast. You just have to make it work for your taste, like mix it with something like iced coffee to make it taste real good.

Ummmm they have actual studies in major peer reviewed journals that shows it keeps the weight off better than 5 other Diets because it unclogs liver so your metabolism works better. After one year, more weight is kept off than other diets. All the Europeans use it.

Almased was warned by the FDA about their marketing practices. Do your research before you jump into another weightloss product.

From Almased's website:

Is Almased FDA approved?

FDA only approves drugs, not supplements. Almased is a natural dietary supplement. However, FDA regulates both finished dietary supplement products and dietary ingredients to ensure safety and quality compliance. Almased is tested regularly by independent third-party labs for quality assurance. Almased has clean, safe ingredients.

The FDA also regulates the benefits or marketing claims that a drug or dietary supplement states. And they require this statement to be placed whenever mentioning the benefits of a supplement as they do not approve supplements.

The statements on this site have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

Note that Almased has over 31 scientific studies proving its benefits. This is far more than most dietary supplements which may have one or no scientific studies done on their product. Regardless of what the scientific studies have proven, the FDA regulates what claims can be stated.

How have you not lost any weight if you're following the protocol? It's so low calorie for the day, that it's impossible not to lose weight.

For anyone who wants to try it, prepare to be disgusted by the taste. It tastes like powdered baby formula. Awful.

Fad garbage.
Eat beef and drink milk and eat eggs. Simple.
