SAT for UVA

The 2022-2023 common data indicated that 25% of the enrolled freshmen had less than a 1400 on the SAT. Does anyone know if the fall, 2023 (or even the fall, 2024 ones admitted so far) data has been published?

Thank you, if I am reading it right, the fall, 2023 SAT 25% increased to 1410.

No, this would be only those enrolled freshman who had submitted scores — not 25% of all freshmen.

Schev reports that last years class reported a 1510 at the 75th percentile; a 1470 at the median and a 1410 for the bottom 25th percentile. https://research.schev.edu//enrollment/B10_FreshmenProfile.asp

Keep in mind that these are of those reporting. Those not reporting are lower.

NP. It's not immediately clear to me, is this score data for admitted students, or for enrolled students?

They are generally going to be lower than their demographic group if not reporting.

Keep in mind it, average SAT of kid being accepted from FCPS is going to be higher than average SAT from kid accepted from rural VA. If you're applying from NOVA, you need 1510+.

The assumption that the rest of the state or rural areas are full of less intelligent people is ridiculous.

Sure but name one other state or commonwealth that provides more information up front than SCHEV/Virginia does. NONE

It is ridiculous. Also SCHEV provides admissions by county in VA. Some counties send ZERO students to UVA or one. Fairfax sends at least 600 a year.
