How long is your commute to work?

| 13 miles from work - driving 25 min in AM and an hour in the afternoon for me. |

| If I didn't drop at day care, it would be four miles and 15 minutes. Day care circuit makes it 8 miles and about 45 minutes total. |

| To/from work is only 8 miles and about 20 minutes one way. The hard part is the two different schools pick-up in the afternoon. The after-school circuit adds 10 miles and approx. 35 minutes to the trip. |

26 miles - 45-60 without drop off - an hour and 20 with drop off.

DH - just under 2.5 miles from work and daycare - takes him and DD a consistent 12-15 minutes both ways.
Me: 45 minutes, pretty consistent - we live about a 10 minute walk from the metro, and I'm 18 minutes on the train from my DC stop, and about a 6 minute walk to my building. I only go in the office four days a week - no complaints, could be a lot worse. |

| Usually around an hour and 10 minutes, give or take depending on traffic. (With no traffic at all it would be about 30 minutes but that never happens.) I despise it and we are actively looking for houses closer to my workplace. |

DH: 15 minutes. Not sure of miles.
Me, once school starts: 4 miles, about 15 minutes, including dropoff. We just moved, so I'm pretty psyched. And I'll have both kids in the same school. Finally. |

about 1 hr 15 - 1 hr 30 min, with school dropoff/pick up in between.

8 miles to work in downtown DC. It's a 25 minute drive if leave before 8 a.m., and about 40 mins if leave after 8:30 a.m. Can also walk/Metro door to door in about 35 mins.
Commute home is between 35 mins to an hour, depending on traffic and time departing the office (the two are obviously related). If via Metro, same as morning commute - 35 mins door to door. |
