New Bravo Show: Real Housewives of Potomac

This show leaves me bored out of my mind. Karen, OMG what a phony!!! She looks like such a wicked witch with her point nose, and then there is the annoying one, married to the Aussie? Cannot stand that woman.

Giselle is pretty but seems full of herself, Robyn is like watching paint dry and the athletes wife is the only one who I think seems together and logical..snooze fest if you ask me.

Am I the only one who doesn't find the wife of an athlete interesting? They usually aren't even playing anymore. I also think it's insulting bc apparently that's the only way bravo can find rich black people! Look a little harder there are POC who work work.

Yep. And it was a two-fer. She had on the neon pink one earlier in the episode. She seems to be FEELING jumpsuits lately which is a shame for anyone having to look at her. I never noticed her weird legs/walk before the jumpsuits.

I always joke "wear a jumpsuit. Cinch it in with a BIG OL BELT. Boom/done/you're welcome." when friends as me what they should wear to an event... it's like Karen takes my advice on this and I don't even know her.

Her daughter looks like a lovely child- very sweet. I feel bad for her with this being so public- but what can you do when your mother is a weirdo- not much.

Her daughter has always struck me as super sweet and kind. Karen seems her most "normal" when she's with her. But poor girl - can you imagine having someone like Karen as your mom??

Ugh I always feel so bad for the housewives children. I feel most terrible for Danielle's kids (NJ) and for Erika Janes grown cop son. Can you imagine what he has to hear at the precinct every day? Ugh, the locker room jokes alone.

This is what I just can't understand about Erika. She wants to do soft-porn performances and videos? Great. But who in their right mind would do that with kids - especially an adult male son??? How can she even be around him (and vice versa) without major embarrassment and awkwardness?

I agree that this show is super boring, and yet I watch - mainly because it's filmed locally, so that makes it (somewhat) interesting. But these women really are dull.

What do you all think of the new woman, Candace?? I find her INCREDIBLY annoying and high maintenance.

I watch all of the Real Housewives franchises except for Atlanta. Potomac is the only one where the homes are not at all impressive - with the exception of Monique Samuels whose house is gorgeous. The kitchens need total gut jobs, and the houses all look to be circa 1990.

I do really like Robyn Dixon. She is authentic and is okay with sharing her story about her and Juan's past financial problems without sugar-coating it.

Agree with the bold. I preferred the RHODC cast; they seemed to have much more internal drama.

Agree with the bold. I preferred the RHODC cast; they seemed to have much more internal drama.

Potomac has its issues but the DC edition was one of the worst reality shows of all time.

I don't care for her either. I'm happy her MIL called her a heifer. The only issue is now she gets to play that card for the rest of her MILs life.
